About Ese
Meet Ese (pronounced “easy”), a petite 7-month-old Snowshoe Siamese kitten who’s been tough from the start. Born the smallest in a colony of 12 cats, and the eighth to be fixed, she got her second chance in foster care after a rough beginning. Ese is playful and sharp, loving a good feather wand hunt or chasing a laser pointer through her tunnel. When she’s tired, she’ll watch birds from her window perch, quietly observing the world. Ese is independent, observant, and cautious—she’s still learning that people are safe. Handling can make her nervous, and she’s not a “pick-up-and-cuddle” kitten yet. She needs someone experienced with shy cats, someone who’s patient and lets her come around on her own timetable. In a calm, steady home, she’s already starting to discover her softer side—accepting slow affection, enjoying chin brushing, and even considering a lap as a safe place. She’s not an instant lap cat or an extrovert, but for the right person, she’ll be an incredibly rewarding, devoted companion. Ese is best suited for a quiet, low-traffic household without young children. Another friendly, confident cat in the home could help her gain confidence, provided introductions go at her pace. She’s spayed, up-to-date on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, combo tested negative, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. The adoption fee is $200 covering her medical care. Ready to fall in love?
