She isn’t going to shadow you from room to room—instead, she’ll be off overseeing her backyard territory or racing through the grass with her best friend, Remy. April arrived at her foster home a bit nervous but quickly settled in, letting her playful, happy personality shine once she realized she was safe. She enjoys the company of other dogs and can often be found curled up next to her dog pals at night or for a nap after a string of zoomies. Affectionate and well-mannered, April loves attention and a good cuddle, but she doesn’t need your constant focus. She likes to join the family fun, then she'll wander off for her next little mission, coming back in her own time for snuggles. Her ideal day includes sunshine, running with friends, and winding down among people and pups she trusts. April gets along well with dogs and has been respectful around children. She sleeps with her foster siblings and spends much of her day lounging or exploring with the crew. She's crate trained, almost totally housebroken, and working on leash skills.
