Today, they're safe in foster care, learning what it means to be loved while they wait for families of their own. When April first arrived, she was a little unsure about all the changes around her. After a few days in foster care, she realized life wasn't so scary after all. Now she's a happy, playful girl who loves other dogs, enjoys exploring the outdoors, and can often be found racing around the yard with her favorite playmate, Remy. The two came into rescue together and have remained constant companions ever since. Whether they're playing, exploring, or curled up for a nap, they're usually not far from one another. April is affectionate, well-mannered, and just independent enough to keep life interesting. She enjoys attention and cuddles but isn't the type to demand them every second of the day. She likes to be part of the fun, then head off on her next little adventure. Her favorite place is outside, where she can stretch her legs, soak up the sunshine, and show off her zoomies.
