Meet Scooter! If you're looking for a dog who will make you smile every single day, Scooter might just be your guy. Scooter recently arrived at Baypath from one of our rescue partners in Alabama, and despite a rough start in life as part of a large hoarding case, he has blossomed into a fun-loving, affectionate, and incredibly sweet companion. He greets life with a wagging tail, a happy attitude, and a whole lot of charm. This social butterfly loves other dogs and has lived successfully with cats, too. He's house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on leash-often adding a little prance that makes it look like he's showing off just how happy he is to be out and about. His signature move? Kicking up dirt after he potties as if he's celebrating a job well done. Scooter is also a world-class snuggler. At night, you'll likely find him burrowed under the covers, convinced that blankets were invented specifically for him. He loves car rides, gets excited when it's time to hit the road, and is always ready for his next adventure. And if you happen to have a chicken nugget? Congratulations-you've just become Scooter's favorite person. We're still getting to know this adorable boy, but one thing is already clear: Scooter is the kind of dog who brings joy wherever he goes.
