About Josie

Josie is a tiny 8-month-old Chihuahua mix with a sweet and curious personality. Weighing just 6½ pounds, she started off a bit shy but has really come into her own, blossoming into an affectionate dog who loves nothing more than to snuggle up with her foster family. Her gentle side comes through as she settles in, and she thrives around people who offer patience and a steady presence. Currently, Josie is about 95% house-trained and is getting the hang of both crate and leash training. She’s eager to learn and benefits most from a home where her people are around much of the day—someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule would be ideal. She’s looking for someone to continue building her confidence and reinforce her good habits with clear, consistent routines. Josie comes spayed and has up-to-date vaccinations and a microchip. If you’re searching for a small companion who’s loving and intelligent, Josie might be your next best friend. She’s ready for a forever home where she can keep growing and sharing her big heart.
