About Mabel
Meet Miss Mabel, a 10-year-old, 33-pound Black Labrador Retriever mix with a sweet, silly, and undeniably sassy personality. Fully vetted and eager for her forever home, Mabel thrives in households where people spend plenty of time at home—she isn’t a fan of crates, but leaves the house in perfect order when you’re out. She’s the kind of senior who still lives for walks and can outpace her age, and she loves toys (especially carrying them everywhere she goes). This laid-back girl gets along well with other dogs and adores her foster sisters. She’s likely best-suited to families with older children. Potty training is no problem for her, and while she can be choosy about her meals, she knows what she likes. Mabel can sometimes be vocal, but her cheerful spirit shines through every day. Originally found as a stray, Mabel had a benign mass removed from her back, a skin tag taken off her leg, and received a dental cleaning since joining Underdog Rescue Ranch. Through it all, she’s handled everything with resilience and grace—and she’ll soak up every bit of kindness someone has to give. Senior age aside, she’s the total package. Your new best friend is just one click away.
