About Duchess
Duchess turned up hungry and alone by a highway, but a caring stranger helped her get safe and get needed care. She’s spent the last month filling out, building trust, and showing everyone her affectionate side. Duchess is 6 months old now, eager to meet new people, and adapts quickly to new situations. She’s a friendly, eager-to-please pup who picks up routines with minimal fuss and is drawn to both adults and kids—she’s done well with children as young as 8. Duchess really shines in the company of other dogs, no issues across ages or sizes, and she’s gentle around cats, too. She’s a Labrador Retriever and Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix, sporting a short brown and cream coat and is on track to be a medium-sized adult. Duchess is spayed, fully vaccinated, and house trained, with current flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and a microchip. She’s got warm, expressive eyes and a knack for quick learning. If you’re ready for a jovial Pisces with a knack for winning hearts, Duchess is ready to start her next chapter in Austin, TX or soon in Hartford, Connecticut. Ready to fall in love?
