About Stanley!
Stanley! is a 7-year-old cat with a huge personality and a soft spot for affection. He’s been through a lot—lost his home when his person passed away—but he’s bounced back and is eager to bond with someone new. Stanley has FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but he’s a thriving example of how well these cats can do with good food and regular vet care. He doesn’t let it slow him down, and he’s enjoying life with plenty of energy. Expect Stanley to be right in the middle of everything. He’ll follow you around, eager for conversation and to see what you’re up to. He rubs on your legs, purrs, and can turn just about anything into a social event. He’s got a knack for communication, especially when it comes to letting you know when he’s had enough petting—it’s endearing and makes him easy to understand if you know a bit about cat signals. Because he can get a bit overstimulated during long petting sessions, he’s best suited to a home without young children. Though Stanley used to spend time outside, what he really wants is strong companionship and to be close to his people. He’s happiest joining in with whatever you’re doing, whether supervising chores, lounging nearby, or curling up for lap time.
