About Sadie
Meet Sadie. She’s a 3.5-month-old black Lab mix with a playful energy and an eager-to-love personality. Found on a busy road with her sister Bailey, Sadie narrowly avoided danger—now, she’s in rescue and ready for a fresh start. Sadie’s a happy, social puppy who clicks easily with dogs, cats, and kids. She’s the kind who wags right up to whatever the day holds. Sadie chases toys, roughhouses with her sister, and greets the world with curiosity. After burning her puppy energy, she’s just as content to tuck in beside you for some quiet, loving downtime. Sadie will need a family to guide her as she learns the ropes and grows up, and in return, she’s bringing her best self: loyal, silly, and genuinely sweet. She’s available for adoption in Brownsville, TX, but transport is possible across wide areas of the US, including the East Coast, Midwest, Pacific Northwest, and Mountain Region. Out-of-state adopters are welcome, and the rescue can help coordinate affordable transport. What are you waiting for? Apply today!

Questions about Sadie
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Sadie is a yellow Labrador Retriever mix, and Labradors typically do well in active households, whether in suburban homes with yards or apartments with committed owners. They need space to stretch and people willing to engage with them daily.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Sadie, like most Labs, needs regular outdoor access for exercise and stimulation. A securely fenced yard is great but not required; daily walks and playtime will keep her happy.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Labrador Retrievers have a reputation for being gentle and patient, so Sadie should flourish in a home with children who know how to treat dogs with respect.
