Meet Brownie! If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving dog who’s already put in the work to be her best self, Brownie is your girl. This beautiful Lab / Rottweiler mix has the cutest ear flip, soulful eyes, and a personality that will keep you smiling every day. Brownie is an active, happy dog who loves being part of whatever you’re doing — whether that’s chasing a ball, going for a car ride, or splashing around with her favorite toys. She has a great balance of playful energy and affection, and once she bonds with you, she’ll be your constant companion. She has recently completed a board and train program, where she worked on her manners, structure, and confidence. Brownie knows her basics and thrives with clear guidance and consistency. She’s looking for a committed adopter who will continue reinforcing her training so she can keep growing and succeed in a home environment. Like many Lab / Rottweiler mixes, Brownie is naturally alert and protective of her home and people. She can be vocal when something catches her attention, but this is very typical of her breed mix and improves with routine, structure, and proper introductions. Brownie would do best in a lower traffic home with a calm, structured environment where she can settle in and feel secure. She forms strong bonds with her people and will be incredibly devoted to her family once she trusts you. Brownie does best with slow introductions to other dogs and benefits from an adopter who understands confident, active breeds. Brownie is fostered in Texas. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Pep’s Pals Rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, FaceTime, etc). Adoption Fee: $250 plus health certificate and transport (if out of state, varies by location). This includes vaccinations, deworming, microchip (additional $12.99 registration fee), spay/neuter, and heartworm test if over 6 months old.
