About Turnip
The veggie kittens came to the shelter as a group of siblings, and Turnip has been growing up in a foster home since late April. Whatever his early story, it’s clear he’s been well-loved—he’s part of a friendly, confident litter that enjoys both spirited play and downtime snuggles. There’s a total of five brothers and one sister in the crew. They wrestle and chase each other, but are always ready for a head scratch and will purr at a moment’s notice. This group is social and cat-friendly, and should do just fine with dogs if the introductions are patient. They haven’t lived with kids, but their brave, adaptable nature suggests they’ll thrive in a family setting. Turnip is a striking solid black kitten, with soft, short fur and an easygoing vibe. Out of all his siblings, he’s the biggest lap-seeker—he’ll rush over to greet people, settle right into a lap, and happily watch the action from there. Expect a big, rumbly purr and a clear appreciation for belly rubs. Turnip is neutered, FIV/FeLV negative, dewormed, age-appropriately vaccinated, and microchipped. For those who like astrology, he’s a Pisces—supposedly sensitive, charming, and gentle. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
