About Milksteak

Milksteak, also known as Wally, is a 25-pound standard Australian Shepherd with a double merle coat and an irresistible mix of joy and chaos. Rescued from a rough start, he doesn’t let being deaf slow him down. In fact, it means he’s blissfully unbothered by storms or fireworks—when the world gets loud, he’s usually snoozing upside down somewhere, totally at ease. He’s a true lap dog at heart: if you’re sitting, he’ll want to join in, whether it’s the couch, your bed, or wherever you settle. Cuddling really is his favorite activity, but he’s also playful, adventurous, clever, and a little independent. Milksteak gets along great with other dogs, cats, and children and is crate trained, house trained, and loves his leash walks. He’s always up for the next snack or adventure and lives for human affection. Fully vetted and looking for his furever family, Milksteak proves that being a little different is sometimes the best kind of special. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
