About Tweed
Tweed is a striking gray and white tabby with a reserved, independent streak. At about a year old, she’s still learning about the world and prefers to take things at her own pace. Initially cautious in new spaces, she quietly observes until she feels secure—then her gentle curiosity comes forward. When comfortable, Tweed becomes playful and enjoys interactive toys that let her watch, pounce, and explore. She isn’t the type to clamor for your attention, but she’ll seek affection when she’s ready, forming a close, meaningful bond over time. A patient adopter is going to be the right fit for Tweed, as she builds trust and confidence with people who move at her speed. She’s lived in foster care with her sister Chiffon and ideally would go home with her, but she’ll also thrive as a solo cat in the right environment. Tweed gets along well with other cats and is friendly with dogs. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, making her a healthy companion looking for a new start. Tweed is currently in Brooklyn, NY. Your new best friend is just one click away.
