Salba is a 5-year-old Shepherd mix looking for a new beginning. This handsome boy is gentle, friendly, and easygoing. He is house trained, walks nicely on leash, and knows several basic commands including sit, down, off, and paw. Salba enjoys being with his people and has a calm, affectionate personality that makes him a wonderful companion. Salba has done well with other dogs, has been around puppies, and has shown no issues with cats. He is a happy, social dog with a wonderful temperament and is truly a good boy through and through. Salba does have a sensitive stomach and currently eats a sensitive-stomach formula that works well for him. It is not a prescription diet and costs about the same as other quality dog foods. Through no fault of his own, Salba is looking for a new home because his owner is moving out of state for graduate school and is unable to take him along. He is losing the only home he has ever known and would love a family willing to give him a soft place to land.
