About Sadie

Sadie is a lovable Newfoundland, about two and a half years old, whose world changed when her owners gave her up. She landed in a foster home thanks to Illinois Saint Bernard Rescue and has taken it in stride. She’s a classic Newfy—big, wooly, and people-oriented—and does especially well with folks of all ages and sizes. Other dogs are welcome in her world, and she’s reliably house trained. One hard line with Sadie: she does not tolerate cats in any capacity. She’s fully vaccinated and spayed, so she’s ready to settle in. If you’re looking for a giant heart in a gentle, furry body (and have a cat-free home), she could be a strong fit. Your new best friend is just one click away.
