Meet She-Ra. She-Ra is a 3 year old, 56 lb pup who is friendly, people-focused, and very easy to spend time with. She knows sit and down, enjoys affection, and is most comfortable when she's close to her person getting pets. During her WFMY segment, she was polite with lots of new people and handled the attention well with happy, relaxed greetings. She is strong on leash, mostly from excitement and wanting to greet people, but she's manageable and responsive with direction. She hops right into the car, rides well, and settles in once she's in there. She's also house trained. She did great during bath time and even tolerated the dryer. In the shelter, she has gotten along with other dogs, and she previously did well with dogs in a finder's home when she was first found as a stray. She-Ra is social, affectionate, and happiest when she is near her people and included in what is going on. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.
