Quercus is actually the scientific name for an Oak tree, but since Quercus is, well, quirky, she gets the fancy name! A true torbie, Quercus has dark tabby stripes with splashs of yellow and brown patches on her toes and legs, it all comes down to an adorable white tipped tail! And that tortie side of her is made quite known. She LOVES to talk! Chirps, meows, littles screams, and the loudest purr you have ever heard, which is surprising given her size. Speaking of size, Quercus is the runt of the litter. Almost a third smaller than her siblings, she has to work extra hard to keep up in play and to get food from the bowl. She is still a bit behind in learning to use the litterbox too, but she gets better everyday! While her brother dotes on her, her sister pushes her on, and Quercus often remains hesitant and spicy around new people and cats. They balance each other well, which is why it would be best for Quercus to go home with one of her siblings (Ginkgo and Bay Laurel). If not, she could do well with a cat who mothers her and provides her the little extra care she needs. Quercus loves to play, especially when it involves climbing! She may be small but she is quite mighty, scaling four foot scratchers and the window to get to the hammock. As the runt, she often seeks solace in her foster parent, following them around, riding in their arms, and even suckling on them like they are a mama cat! And when her climbing antics are all done, she will demand a snuggle buddy, preferably a human, but her siblings make pretty good pillows too! Looking for the littlest kitten with the biggest roar?
