Our sweet old man George found himself at a DFW shelter at 13 years old because his owner died. When we heard his story we decided that the shelter couldn’t be the last home George knew and decided to try and find a soft landing place for him. He’s a very good boy - happy, always with a tail wag, easy going and quiet. George is dog friendly, walks nicely on leash, and rides well in the car. He’s about 13 years old, weighs 42 lbs, is fully vetted and heart worm positive. We will not be treating his heart worm the standard way on the advice of our veterinarian, but will provide medication to his adopter for monthly treatment. We are hoping someone out there sees this post and will offer George a forever home. He is available for adoption in Texas or the NE.
