About Clink

Alias: Clink (The Liability) While his brother and two sisters were smoothly executing their great escape from the New Mexico penitentiary (okay, it was a shelter) to a safehouse in Denver, Clink nearly foiled the entire operation. Why? Because of his constant, criminal need for lap time and snuggles!Clink is a total liability to a life of crime. The second he sees a human, his purr motor revs up, his brain completely shuts down, and he goes into an instant trance to seek out cuddles. He just can't help himself! He does eventually snap out of his love-trance to enjoy a good wrestling match with his siblings, but the moment a lap becomes available, he is always the first in line. The Ideal Co-Conspirator:Clink would love to be adopted with one of his fellow 'Jailbird' siblings, or join a home with a human who has plenty of open-lap availability. The Stats:Litter Box Manners: Excellent (highly disciplined).Vetting: Fully vetted and ready to go.Clink has perfect litter box habits, is fully vetted, and is officially ready to give up his life on the lam in exchange for a permanent life in a lap. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for kittens (6 months & under) $150 for cats (older than 6 months) $100 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
