About Tyra
Tyra is a 30-pound fluff ball who’s ready to leave her rough past behind. She was rescued from a backyard breeder cruelty situation after her previous owner ended up in jail. Despite coming from heartbreaking conditions, Tyra stands out for her friendly, smart, and resilient nature. She’s spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Tyra gets along with both dogs and cats and is enthusiastic about toys—fetch has already become a favorite game. She’s learning leash manners quickly and is nearly house trained. Since life as a normal dog is still new to her, Tyra needs a foster who’s ready to give her time, patience, and steady reassurance while she finds her footing. Tyra can be a bit unsure around young children, so right now a home without small kids is best. She’s currently in Rogersville, MO, with transport available to the Kansas City area. Ready to show Tyra what a loving home really feels like? Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Dogs like Tyra typically benefit from regular access to a yard or green space where they can play and stretch their legs. Daily walks and time outdoors are important for her energy and well-being.
