About Poppyseed
Poppyseed is a fluffy, long-haired gentleman who started life outdoors in a rural cat colony in the spring or summer of 2025. Surviving his first winter outside, he was lucky enough to have kind people look after him when days got rough. Now, he’s ready to find a true home—one where survival isn’t the daily goal. He can be shy at first, sizing you up with quiet caution, but his trust comes quickly. Once he feels safe, Poppyseed turns into a total lovebug: he’ll rub against your legs, flop over dramatically for pets, and happily let you scoop him up and hold him like a baby. When he’s in an especially playful mood, you might get a tiny, harmless love nip—just his way of keeping things interesting. Poppyseed is great with other cats and would enjoy new feline friends. His personality shines once he opens up: affectionate, funny, and sincerely sweet. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to settle into a home. All he wants now is a cozy space, soft blankets, plenty of attention, and a human willing to make him part of the family. Poppyseed was born under the sign of Cancer, so expect lots of emotional warmth and loyalty. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
