Kiwi is a small, adult female Sphynx/Munchkin mix living in Kenosha, WI. Her coat is hairless, and she’s spayed and fully vaccinated. Kiwi is house trained and weighs about 5 pounds. She has special needs due to a skin condition and will thrive with an adopter familiar with Sphynx or Rex cats and attentive to her lifelong medical management.

About Kiwi

Kiwi is a striking blue and white Dwelf—an unusual mix of Sphynx, Munchkin, and American Curl. At about 4 years old and just 5 pounds, she’s compact, hairless, and full of spirit. Kiwi spent years being bred in tough conditions, but since coming into rescue, she’s proven herself affectionate and sharp, always keeping her foster on her toes with curious antics and a puppy-like loyalty. She clings to people, thrives on attention, and loves interaction. Kiwi does not get along with other cats but could coexist with a gentle dog. Due to her autoimmune skin condition, she needs a prescription diet and inexpensive daily medications, along with lifelong vet monitoring. Her next adopter needs real Sphynx or Rex experience to keep up with her specialized care. She’s paid her dues, endured plenty, and now deserves stability and real comfort. What are you waiting for? Questions about Kiwi

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Kiwi, as a Dwelf (Sphynx/Munchkin/American Curl mix), does best in an indoor-only, stable environment with consistent temperatures due to her hairless nature and health needs.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Kiwi’s breed mix is not suited to outdoor life. She will thrive indoors where she’s safe and protected, as her hairless skin can’t handle sunlight or temperature changes well.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

While Dwelf-type cats can be playful and social, Kiwi would do best in a calm adult home or one with gentle, respectful children, especially because of her medical needs and past trauma.
