Peter’s story almost ended before it ever truly began. This handsome brown tabby boy, born approximately 3/12/2024, was living the hard knock outdoor life, surviving one day at a time, when he was trapped for TNR. But the moment we got him in our care, it was obvious something was very wrong. He was sick, exhausted, and desperately needed more than a quick neuter and return. Thankfully, his caretaker made the selfless decision to sign him over so we could fight for him. After extensive vetting, Peter was diagnosed with FIP, a disease that once carried a heartbreaking prognosis. But Peter had something stronger on his side: resilience, determination, and the miracle treatment GS-441524. Day by day, this brave boy transformed before our eyes, trading weakness for energy, fear for trust, and survival mode for pure joy. Now? Peter is thriving. He’s vibrant, outgoing, extroverted, and absolutely overflowing with charm. He wants to be part of everything you’re doing and believes life is meant to be lived to the fullest. That fee includes spay or neuter, microchipping (we register the chip for you), testing for FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), current, age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment and deworming. Even after two-week period, we'll take the adopted cat back for any reason. Come to our adoption fairs, held every second and fourth Saturday at Sheets Pet Clinic (809 Chimney Rock Court, Greensboro, NC, 27409) from 1-3pm, unless the Saturday falls on an observed holiday. At the clinic on those days, you can visit sometimes 40 kittens/cats at one time, interact with them in a quiet environment, spend as much time as you like with them in exam rooms.
