About Lewis
Lewis came to the rescue through a challenging situation, sharing a home with 39 other dogs. Since arriving in San Diego, Lewis has shown a clear need for patience and a gentle approach, as he tends to be shy with new people and environments. But once he has time to feel safe, his playful spirit starts to show. He’s most comfortable with another dog around and will need to be adopted with his foster buddy Sor Juana or join a household with an established, friendly canine. His progress comes slowly, but with a consistent routine and patient care, Lewis has real potential to blossom. He’ll do best in a quiet, low-traffic home where he can relax and be himself. He’s been neutered, vaccinated, and is ready for a new start. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Terrier mixes like Lewis enjoy daily walks and a secure yard, but they don't require huge amounts of outdoor space if their energy is managed with attention and play.
