Rosie — Golden Retriever (Approx. 4 Years Old, ~50 lbs) Creamy White Color Rosie is a sweet, joyful girl with a soft heart and a touch of puppy playfulness still in her. At around 4 years old and about 50 lbs, she's the perfect mix of gentle affection and lighthearted fun. She spent her early years as a breeding mom, and now she's finally getting the chance to learn what it feels like to be part of a real family. Rosie can be shy at first and may need a little time to adjust to new people and new surroundings. Once she feels safe, her personality blossoms — she becomes affectionate, playful, and eager to be near her people. She tries to play but doesn't quite know how yet, which makes her even more endearing as she learns what being a family dog really means. She loves everyone: dogs, kids, and adults alike. Rosie will require a gentle, sweet resident dog in the home. Having another calm, friendly dog helps her confidence grow and gives her the reassurance she needs as she settles into a new environment. She's ready for a home that will give her patience, love, and the companionship she's been missing. Rosie is a wonderful fit for families who want a kind, social dog with a tender spirit and a playful side. ADOPTION CRITERIA • Fully fenced-in backyard required — no invisible fences. • A gentle, sweet resident dog in the home is required. • Someone home more often than not — she thrives on companionship and routine. • Children in the home must be over 7 years of age. • Calm, stable home environment where she can be the center of attention. • Rosie is being fostered in Oswego, Indiana, and will be available for adoption mid-June. She is spayed, vet-checked, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $600. We will require a $50 refundable deposit to hold a dog if your meetandgreet is scheduled more than one week after your application is approved. If you meet the dog and decide not to adopt, your deposit is fully refunded.
