About Corina

Corina’s journey is marked by grit and quiet hope. She arrived at the shelter with her brother, both in a rough state—thin and fragile after an obvious period of hardship. Even then, Corina’s gentle nature shone through. Now, safe with Pep’s Pals Rescue, she’s slowly finding herself nourished, both in body and spirit. Corina is soaking up the attention she missed, showing a calm and affectionate side. She likes settling close, her soulful eyes reminding you she’s weathered more than her share. Every day, she’s putting on weight and showing more life, content to lean into both comfort and companionship. She gets along with other dogs and is house trained, making her a straightforward fit for a home that values stability and patience. At about five years old, Corina is still young enough to enjoy a new beginning with the right family. She is being treated for heartworm in her Texas foster home but is fully adoptable and can travel out of state. Her adoption includes transportation and a finalized contract before she heads off. Corina is looking for a place free from uncertainty, where soft bedding and full meals are a given, not a gift. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
