About Moo Moo & Butter

Looking to find a loving home for our bonded cow cats, Moo Moo (“Mooz”) and Butter ❤️🐄 Moo Moo is a 2-year-old boy with a little black goatee, and Butter is a 1-year-old girl with the adorable black “eyepatch.” Both have cute little black markings on their noses. They were adopted about a year apart but have become extremely bonded, so they will need to stay together. They play together, eat together, and sleep together every day. Moo Moo is more independent and likes affection on his own terms. He likes to be around his people, just not necessarily on them 😂 He’ll usually sit on the top of the couch behind you or a few cushions away just to hang out nearby. You can pick him up, but he usually decides pretty quickly that he’s done being held. He loves toys and treats. He’s also a bit of a scaredy cat — if you hiss at him or surprise him, he will immediately run away and reconsider all his life choices 😅 Moo Moo is also strangely attracted to whistling and will usually come investigate if someone starts whistling nearby. Butter is the complete opposite — she absolutely craves attention and wants to be involved in whatever you’re doing. Her favorite place is directly on someone’s lap, and she would thrive with someone who has time to give her lots of affection throughout the day. She is extremely food and toy motivated and tends to hijack treats and playtime from Moo Moo if given the chance 😅 Butter especially tends to bond closely with women. If she’s cuddling with her favorite person and gets pushed away, she will usually just move on to the next available lap. Both cats are avid bug hunters and love watching bird videos on YouTube together. If company comes over, both cats will most likely hide until everyone leaves. Because of their personalities, they would probably do best in a quieter home without very young children, but they would likely do well with older kids who understand boundaries and can be calm and patient with them. They currently live with a golden retriever and are comfortable with her, but she is an extremely calm dog who gives them space and does not chase or bother them. Because of that, we are honestly unsure how they would do with a very hyper or high-energy dog. Butter is fearless in most situations except vacuums and large unfamiliar objects. They will come with their litter box, litter, food, toys, cat tree, and supplies to help make the transition easier.
