Zayn was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. As you can probably tell by the airplane ears and exasperated face he is showing in his photo, Zayn is not a fan of life in a busy animal shelter. Yes, people are nice to him and give him snacks, which he enjoys, but it is too loud and chaotic here for such a sensitive soul. Zayn is sweet even when he is worried, but he clearly would prefer a calmer living space to call his own. He likes people and responds well to folks who take their time with him; baby talk encourages him to consider you his friend, as does gentle head & neck scratching. It is clear that he would love to make a connection with a human and we believe that once he feels safe in a home with a person or family who take their time with him, he'll be someone's heart cat. It doesn't hurt that his gorgeous blue coat is reminiscent of a Russian Blue, LOL! Come meet Zayn today - he'll be worried but in his heart he'll want to go home with you!
