A kind colony feeder offered food, and Elmer devoured two cans, clearly starving. She quickly realized his coat was hard as cement, likely from industrial glue, and that he’d lost patches of fur from trying to clean himself. After Elmer was brought indoors, a full shave removed the sticky, uncomfortable fur. With care and safety, his temperament switched—he’s relaxed, follows people around, and curls up on laps, soaking in affection. Despite everything he went through outside, Elmer has emerged sweet-natured, calm, and eager for company. He’s FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on vaccines, neutered, and fully house trained.
