About Cherry
Cherry is all energy and joy, a five-month-old Rough Collie/mixed breed puppy who brings a lot of life wherever she goes. Weighing around 28 pounds, she bounces through each day with a constantly wiggling body and a big, happy grin. Her playful side is front and center—she’s always game for toys, play bows, and a good romp, but she also knows how to be gentle, already showing a soft mouth with her toys. Cherry has a sweet, cuddly side too. You’ll catch her leaning into you for attention and affection, soaking up every bit of love you offer. She aims to please and can be a little submissive, a trait that makes training easier. She’s still a puppy, so she’s working on her manners—she’ll need someone to show her the ropes, especially with her puppy jumping and mild herding instincts. Because she still tends to be mouthy and has some herding behavior, she’d do best in a home where any children are at least eight. She’s happy around other dogs and looks for guidance from her people. Cherry’s future family should be ready for the fun and commitment of raising a smart, active pup who promises to bring a lot of sunshine into the house. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
