About Collette
Meet Collette, affectionately called Colletti Confetti—a 2½-year-old wirehaired dachshund terrier mix with a soft, wiry yellow coat and a sturdy 17-pound frame. Rescued from a county shelter after being found as a stray, Collette quickly charmed her way into a foster home and straight into everyone's hearts. She's brought out the best in her canine pals and thrives in the company of other dogs, polite and good-natured with each one she meets. Cats, though, aren't her cup of tea, so a feline-free home is important for her happiness. Collette is treat-motivated, quick to learn, and has a playful streak. She has a gentle, easygoing presence and enjoys snuggling up inside after a morning spent outdoors. She barks only when it's warranted, loves to chew on hooves and bones, and is happy to be picked up or ride along for car rides. Crate and house trained, she walks well on a leash and is ready to join family activities with minimal fuss. Collette is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and set up for long-term health, including preventives for fleas and heartworm. A home with a yard and kids would make her happiest.
