Garbanzo came to Dakin with her buddies after a few months of being taken care of by a group of neighbors. These kitties are very friendly, approached their caretakers and strangers, and even waited for the kids at the bus stop! Everyone has been able to pet them and pick them up. You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. (Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
