Blair is the real deal—a tiny little micro bully weighing just 39 pounds, packed full of love and sweetness. At only 2 years old, she's already lived through more heartbreak than any dog should. Blair spent her young life being bred over and over (Her nipples are still recovering). As if that was not a bad enough, then was dumped at a shelter. For five long months she sat there waiting. Then came the day we learned of her fate, time had ran out. She was scheduled for euthanasia. Not because she was aggressive. Not because she was sick. Not because she wasn't a good dog. Simply because space was running out. That's the reality for so many wonderful dogs sitting in shelters today. But this was not going to be Blair’s ending. She is with us now. She is safe, and she is AMAZING. Blair gets along beautifully with every dog in her foster home. She's incredibly submissive and wants absolutely no drama. If another dog wants the toy, they can have it. If another dog wants the bed, she'll find another spot. Blair's goal in life is simply to love and be loved. She is crate trained and actually enjoys her crate. She especially likes eating her meals there. Something about eating uninterrupted is golden to her. It’s her secret hiding spots. Peaceful. Get it? 🤭 Now, let's talk about her "faults"—and honestly, they're pretty adorable. First, Blair loves HARD. If you've ever wanted a dog that thinks you're the greatest thing that's ever happened to her, congratulations. You've found her. She gives kisses. Lots of kisses. She also believes personal space is more of a suggestion than a rule. When she puts her front paws on you, she's not trying to knock you over. She just wants to look deep into your eyes and make sure you know how much she loves you. Being an inside dog is also new for Blair. She can be a little anxious at first while she learns a new routine, but she settles in beautifully once she realizes she's safe. And potty training? She spent much of her life on concrete, so grass wasn't exactly part of her world. She may need a little guidance at first, but once she figures out where she's supposed to go, she does great. Her foster home has a doggie door, and she uses it without any problems. The truth is, Blair is one of those dogs that steals your heart before you even realize it's happening.
