Bashful is an affectionate, cuddly little pup who enjoys being snuggled in your lap! Bashful was found with her brother as strays in California and brought into the shelter there. We were delighted to get them out of the shelter and into a foster home where they could be safe and on a better path to adoption. - Approximately date of birth is 3/2/26 - Weighed 3.88 pounds on 5/18/26. We believe Bashful will likely be around 15 pounds full grown but cannot guarantee size at maturity. - Chihuahua mix - Social with people and loves to play and engage with you - Getting lots of good socialization with other dogs in foster and enrichment - Has not been around cats yet but she is so young and small that we think he will do just fine with them. - Kids ages 8+ years old if there are kids in the home due to his small size We are seeking committed puppy adopters who are kind, patience and realize getting a puppy can be a lot of work and a labor of love. We prioritize adopters who believe in socializing and training their puppy so that it can mature into a well mannered and confident adult dog. Bashful has her first two rounds of puppy vaccines, is microchipped, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heatworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes her spay surgery between 7 -12 months of age at one of our partner veterinary clinics in SW Portland or Milwaukie.
