About Laurie
Laurie is a striking young dog searching for a family to call her own. She and her sister, Page, were rescued from a ditch a few months ago and have blossomed in their foster home ever since. At about seven months old and nearly 45 lbs as of mid-May, Laurie is that classic happy-go-lucky puppy. She spends her days playing hard with her sister, savoring snack time, and sneaking in plenty of naps. Laurie lives comfortably with several adult dogs of different breeds and sizes, and gets along with everyone. Even with her bursts of playful energy, Laurie has a calm streak and is a bit on the shy side. Her background hints at a touch of Pit Bull, but she shows none of the negative reputation unfairly associated with the breed. Her gentle, easygoing personality shines through in her day-to-day interactions. Laurie is house trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. Sheād love to be adopted with her sister Pageāthereās even a reduced adoption fee for bothābut sheās also happy to find a family on her own.
