About Benito "bad Butthole"

Meet Benito, also known as Benito "Bad Butthole"—and he’s certainly earned that memorable nickname. Benito arrived with his siblings after a tough start, battling both an upper respiratory infection and ringworm. He then kept the rescue team guessing with an anal prolapse right when it was time for his neuter. What was expected to be quick turned into a series of procedures, culminating in a corrective colopexy surgery. Benito made a fantastic recovery and now everything is working (and staying) as it should be. Now neutered, healthy, and officially ready for his new chapter, Benito shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. He’s extremely vocal, energetically playful, and always on the hunt for a new high perch—cat trees and shelves are his favorite places to survey the room. Benito adores dogs, shadowing his foster's pup with non-stop curiosity. He gets along well with other kittens too and would do best with another young, playful companion who can match his energy. After a rough beginning, Benito's outsized personality is ready for a home that will love his quirks and lively spirit just as much as the rescue team does. Ready to fall in love?
