This adorable girl is very sweet and wants love, but is still learning just how to go about that. She will ask for pets but likes to keep things on purrsonal terms, needing some extra time to acclimate and find her place. Sesame's favorite things include bird watching, wand toys, long naps and slow blinks from afar. She loves food, treats and lots to playtime, but may take a long time to warm up to pets and snuggles. With the right person she will thrive as your loyal companion. She gets along with other cats and wouldn't mind a friend to keep her company. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
