About Dash
Dash is a 5-year-old Chihuahua/Cairn Terrier mix with a wire coat, weighing around 9 pounds and full of quirky personality. He lost his bonded companion recently, so he’s truly happiest with another small, gentle dog at home. Dash needs people around most of the time—he gets anxious when left alone, and his crate is his safe haven at night. He’s outgoing and loyal once he trusts you, showing affection and a terrific little sense of humor, but he’s sensitive to loud noises and sudden movement, so a calm, steady environment suits him best. Children are fine so long as they’re gentle and respectful of his space, but Dash doesn’t do well with big or pushy dogs. He comes fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, and on heartworm prevention), crate trained, and has a complete bundle ready for his new home—crate, harness, bed, toys, dental chews, and a one-year supply of heartworm medication. A secure yard, plenty of company—both human and dog—and understanding of small dog quirks are musts for his best fit. Veterinary contacts are appreciated. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
