About Beau
Beau is a one-year-old Border Collie mix with a playful streak and a contagious, goofy charm. He's the type who’ll zip around the yard in a burst of energy, only to trot back and flop right in your lap for some affection. Once a bit reserved after arriving from the shelter system, Beau has shed his shyness and now thrives on playtime, exploration, and being in the middle of whatever his people are doing. He enjoys toys, long walks, and the occasional splash—he might even be a future beach or river buddy. Beau’s energy is moderate, so he fits well with adopters who keep an active but balanced routine and have time for interaction. He’s dog-friendly and could be happy solo or paired with another playful canine. Because Beau is quite interested in chickens and ducks, a home without cats or small animals is best. While his experience with young children is limited, older, respectful kids could be a good match. Beau is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on leash. He knows "sit" and is eager to keep learning with positive reinforcement. He’s looking for a family ready to keep building his confidence and welcoming his joyful, adventurous spirit. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
