About Aleu
Aleu is a 7-month-old Husky/Shepherd mix still busy learning the ropes of the world, usually by sticking close to another dog who knows the routine. Sheâs shy in new settings and with new people, but once she decompresses, her affectionate, goofy side shows. She prefers to be near her humansâespecially if thereâs a couch involved. Aleu adores other dogs and tends to mirror their every move. Sheâll happily go for a walk, explore the yard, or learn new thingsâif another dog goes first. Her confidence often depends on her canine companions, and she takes her 'monkey see, monkey do' style seriously. Youâll find Aleu trailing you from room to room, standing sentry during movie night, and learning what it means to just be a dog. With her alert, wolf-like ears, she looks like she belongs in the wildâbut most of the time, sheâs listening for her people. Aleu does have some separation anxiety, so sheâll need adopters willing to be patient and help her feel secure over time. Sheâs happiest in a home with another friendly dog and people who appreciate just how sweet a shy girl can be. She gets along well with both cats and dogs. Ready to meet your new best friend?
