Meet Abby – Professional Squeaky Ball Enthusiast At 6 years old, Abby the 15lb, Chihuahua mix was adopted from Mispits over five years ago and was deeply cherished by her mom. This past year or so, however, brought a lot of change and uncertainty. As her owner’s health declined, Abby experienced a rotating door of home health workers and temporary stays with friends. After her mom sadly passed away on Easter, Abby has found herself starting over. Abby will need a patient home that will let her move at her own pace. Trust is something she gives thoughtfully—but once you earn it, you’ll have a loyal little companion by your side. And when Abby’s comfortable? That’s when the fun begins. She loves neighborhood walks, never says no to a treat, and is wildly devoted to squeaky balls. We’re pretty sure she would trade state secrets for one without hesitation. She also has excellent house manners—Abby sleeps quietly in her dog bed at night, is perfectly content sitting beside you on the couch (not a clingy lap dog), and will happily soak up all the butt scratches you’re willing to give.
