Junior — The Paving Crew’s Unexpected New Trainee Although he had no experience with paving, this sweet boy showed up on a job site where a paving crew was working. While he may not have had the skills to help them, they absolutely had the skills to help him. Maybe he knew exactly what he was doing after all. His finders kept him safe under a shade tree until our Animal Control Officer arrived, giving him all the love and affection he could soak up — and he was more than happy to receive it. Without a microchip, there was no way to locate a family, and no one ever came to claim him. Now this sweet boy is focused on finding a new family who will always keep him safe, loved, and cared for. While here at the shelter, he met a similar-sized spayed female. He was a little reserved at first, but he allowed her to sniff him all over. Once she began offering play bows, he relaxed, loosened up, and wagged his tail through the entire interaction. Junior is friendly, gentle, and ready to start his next chapter.
