Meet Moonshine! Moonshine is a tall, lanky mixed-breed pup estimated to be around 2 years old. This handsome guy came to us as an emaciated stray in need of some TLC, and he’s been thriving ever since! He currently weighs about 75 pounds and is still working on filling out - think loooong Great Dane legs and standing about hip-height to most humans! Moonshine is very food and treat motivated, which makes any training extra fun (especially if snacks are involved). He already knows “sit” and “give paw!” Moonshine can be a little unsure when experiencing new things at first, but he settles in quickly and continues to grow more confident every day. He absolutely loves human affection and is happiest sitting right beside you soaking up attention. He bonds quickly, and his goofy and loving personality really shines through! He’s also learning that being a tall guy means keeping all four paws on the floor instead of trying to give surprise hugs! Moonshine is ready to find a family who will continue helping him blossom into the amazing companion he’s meant to be! He has potential to live with another dog! A meet and greet with other dogs in the home would take place at the shelter to ensure it is a good match. He has the potential to live with cats with proper introductions.
