Meet Zahra - the gorgeous new kitten looking for a forever home! Zahra is a little adventurer who bravely made her way to the shelter. On a calm weekday morning, a man was driving to work when he suddenly saw this little girl clinging to the asphalt in the middle of Highway 40. We aren't sure quite where she was headed to, but that kind soul safely brought her to us. When Zahra first arrived she was pretty nervous. She never shows any signs of aggression, but we could tell she was overwhelmed and she hid her first few days here. After a few days to settle in, though, she showed us what a playful and snuggly girl she can be! Zahra is quite the drama queen, and is a very vocal kitty. She will meow to get your attention, and scream if you do something she doesn't like! When you get her favorite toys out she has an adorable soft purr. We've introduced Zahra to some of our other kittens and she gets along great with them. We haven't seen how she is around dogs or kids, but we think with proper introductions she could get along with just about everyone.
