Emu arrived to us as a stray who seemed to have been through some rough times. He had some scarring on his nose and a wound on his right rear leg. In spite of this, he has been the friendliest and happiest boy! You could see him relax once he arrived here, like he knew he was finally safe and everything was going to be ok. He has been engaging and affectionate with staff, he was recently neutered and has to wear the 'cone of shame' for a few days, but don't let that stop you from meeting him and falling in love with him!
