About Rubin

Rubin is a three-year-old, medium-sized domestic short hair with an easygoing way about him. Rescued after surviving a harsh snowstorm and rough conditions outdoors, Rubin quickly learned to enjoy the comforts of indoor life: beds, soft blankets, and the simple pleasure of a sunbeam. He shares his affection by curling up next to you at night and settling quietly into your routine, never pushy but always present. Rubin doesn’t like being picked up, but he’ll find your lap or the nearest spot beside you when he wants company. He gets along well with other cats and will do best in a peaceful, dog-free home with adults or older children. Rubin is ideal for someone patient, understanding, and ready for a gentle companion who’s still finding his place in the world. Rubin is neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, vet checked, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
