Hi, my name is Willow! Maybe the humans named me that because of my small size? I'm a pocket-sized (8 lb) bundle of wiggles and kisses! I am a roughly 3-year old Chihuahua mix who came all the way from Southern California in search of my new forever home! I was in a high-kill shelter there, where I could not thrive. Fortunately, Fur Love Haven got me out of there! I have a big personality, despite my small size! My hobbies include snuggling in my humans' laps, burrowing underneath blankets, and following my humans around the house. I would also make a great personal bodyguard if it weren't for my size. I can also be a house alarm system and warn you when strangers are near. Don't expect me to be an alarm clock, though--I love to sleep in! I get along great with the dogs in my foster home, but I'm not really into roughhousing! Although I need to build my confidence around strangers, I do get very attached to my pack. I have been pretty successful with my potty training and will do well as long as I have a set routine. I am not crate trained, but I am good at staying out of trouble when left alone. My perfect family would need to give me time to warm up to them and earn my trust. I would not do well in a house full of young children who may touch or pick me up without my consent.
