Christian is an absolutely incredible, tender, snuggly boy who is looking for true love! This big mush came in after he and his companion were taken from his old home due to leaving him out in dangerously cold weather. When he got to the pound he was just so wonderfully grateful for warm blankets, a full belly, and for the love that everyone was showing him. Our volunteers just knew this incredible boy needed to be saved and thankfully a wonderful foster family agreed to take him in and give him excellent care until he finds his forever home! Christian is 20 months old and currently weighs about 65 lbs, expecting to max out at 70 lbs. He’s gone ahead and gotten all medical work completed including vaccinations, deworming, heartworm testing, microchipping, and neuter! He is also current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. This boy is now officially ready for adoption! It was clear from the moment he went into foster care that he’s just a solidly good, loving, easy going boy. He immediately laid down with their cat with no interest in bugging him or chasing him, just happy to have a friend. He clicked immediately with their dogs and was soooo happy to have someone to run around and play with in the yard! He’s since been to many play groups with male and female dogs of all ages and sizes, and he’s just a sweetheart with everyone! He is excellent in the house and reliably goes potty outside. He enjoys toys and has a perfect medium energy level. He absolutely loves to play with other dogs, go hiking, go for car rides, and be your adventure buddy! That said, he also super loves his lazy days of cuddling up in the sofa with you and watching a movie. His energy js pretty reflective of what you’d like to do with him that day. He’s been great with every man, woman and child he’s met! He likes to play fetch with balls and loves his toys, and will sometimes carry one of his stuffies around the house. He wags his tail and smiles often, thankful for the turn if events that gave him the chance at a new life full of love and warmth. Christian is a true tender old soul, lover of life and all things fun, playful and adventurous, but also lover slow, soft snuggle days. This boy is full of gratitude and has such a sweet heart. He is just looking for someone to love, who will love him deeply in return.
