When you bring this cat home they will need to be set up in a room by themselves. This cat will go home with a behavior plan that you will need to follow in order for them to use the litterbox reliably. Ready To Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter. (Cats in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT REMOTELY OR PLACE A 24-HOUR HOLD** If you're ready to adopt without meeting the cat first, or you'd like to place a non-refundable $25 hold to reserve a cat for 24 hours, just call or email us: (413) 781-4000 x 1 springfield@dakinhumane.org.
