About Thunder

I was turned in as a "stray," but the nice people at the shelter really think it was my owners who turned me in to the shelter. But it's all good because this wonderful organization, Corgi Connection of Kansas, came and got. They placed me in a really nice home where there is another corgi! We play all the time, but sometimes I'm too much for him, so I have to have some quiet time in my crate or I play by myself. I'm very good in the crate and sleep in it at night. But I don't want to be in there a lot because I want to RUN and PLAY! The shelter staff thought I was born sometime in December and the lady who looked in my mouth thought so too. I don't remember much about the rest of that time. They told me I got neutered and microchipped. Whatever! I had to be calm a few days. Boy was that hard! But I'm all healed and now they tell me I'm ready for my forever home. HERE'S THE REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF ABOUT ME: My foster mom says I'm like a toddler - constantly into things and sometimes I chew on the wrong things. Because I'm busy all the time, I sometimes forget to do my business outside. Sometimes I ask to go out the door, but gosh, when I'm having so much fun, I don't want to take the time. So whoever gets me, will have to stop my play and take me outside and keep an eye on me. I don't want to do wrong things, but I don't think my previous owners taught me a lot except to go in my crate. :( Other things I'm learning to do is walk nicely on a leash without pulling and barking at everyone and look out the window without barking at everyone. I REALLY like to look outside when I'm not playing. There's so much to watch. I can also be a cuddlebug and love to get attention. Whoever is interested in giving me a fur-ever home should have previous puppy experience or some extra dog experience because I still need a lot of work, so please be patient with me. Oh, an one other thing: I'm probably not all corgi. I'm pretty big for just a pup. I weigh about 25 pounds and still have some growing to do. Since I was a "stray" nobody knows about my mom and dad. One of them might have been a border collie. Oh and another thing (tee hee hee) - I don't know if my 1 ear will ever stand up. Sometimes it does, but I don't understand it. thunder and jax may 2026Here's the "fine print:" My adoption fee is $300. I'm neutered, current on vaccinations and on prevention. I'm also micro-chipped. I get along with other dogs, but I might be a bit too much for young kids. Still think you'd like to give me a home? Well, then go to this link and fill out the application. The nice lady who runs CCK will get back to you. But if you fill out the application through you phone, it's probably won't make it to her through cyber space. https://www.corgiconnection.com/index.php?option=com_breezingforms&view=form&Itemid=10 Thanks for checking me out.
