About Thunder
Thunder was found wandering and ended up at the shelter, but thanks to Corgi Connection of Kansas, he’s safe now and thriving in a foster home with another corgi for company. This 5-month-old Corgi mix is all energy and curiosity—always looking to play, run, and explore. He’s crate-trained and sleeps there at night, but Thunder’s happiest when he’s out and about. Like any puppy, he can get into trouble if left to his own devices and sometimes forgets to take care of business outside when he’s having too much fun. Thunder needs someone with previous puppy or dog experience who can keep up with his busy personality and help guide him with patience and consistency. He’s still learning the ropes—not just house training, but manners on leash and keeping the barking under control, especially when he’s watching the world go by the window. He can be affectionate and enjoys cuddling when he slows down, but playtime is still his favorite thing. Thunder gets along well with other dogs, though his zest for life might be overwhelming for young children. He’s a bigger pup for his age, likely part Border Collie, with a quirky ear that sometimes stands up and sometimes doesn’t.
