Fern is a sweet, albeit timid, gal! She truly wants to be your best friend, and just like any good friendship, it simply takes a little time to get to know her. Once she's comfortable with you, she absolutely loves getting pets and scratches, and will happily lie down for tummy rubs. She also loves to play, especially with catnip toys and chasing around wand toys. One of her absolute favorite discoveries is the window; she loves to spend her afternoons watching the squirrels and birds outside. Her dream forever home would definitely include a sunny window where she can keep up with her "neighborhood watch" duties! Even though Fern is a little shy, she is also incredibly brave. She has explored her foster home with determination, curious to learn every inch of her surroundings. She's currently in a foster home with a cat (whom she tolerates just fine) and a large dog (who spooks her a little). She will likely take time to warm up to you, but it is absolutely worth the wait, and she has tons of love to give!
